Compatible Models:

There are three revisions of the MacBook keyboard and trackpad replacements for White and Black MacBook computers as pictured above. We replace all revisions, but we need to know what revision laptop you have. If the command key next to your spacebar shows an Apple logo on it, you have a revision 1 model. If the command key does not have an Apple logo on it, you have a revision 2 unit unless you have a 2.1, 2.2, or 2.4ghz MacBook which are revision 3 models. Keyboard and trackpad replacement:

The keyboard and trackpad are built into the casing. So when we do the replacement you are actually receiving an entirely new trackpad/keyboard/palm-rest assembly.

There are other things you can do before shipping your computer to give you greater peace of mind when putting your loved laptop in the mail.

  2. 2.Require a signature. This allows you to be certain that your computer arrived at MacReboot.

How to ship your computer to MacReboot:

Our MacBook keyboard and trackpad replacement service requires you to send your laptop in to MacReboot for service. In order to help you properly pack and ship your computer, we have created an instructional video showing  you the process.

If you need your MacBook keyboard and trackpad replaced as fast as possible, MacReboot offers a priority overnight service to get you your computer back fast. This service will put your computer at the top of our priority list so it gets done the same day we receive it for repair. You must ship it to us via overnight AM delivery (UPS or FedEx) so we receive it before 3PM Mon-Fri. Once we receive your computer, we will replace the keyboard assembly and ship it back to you overnight the SAME DAY. So you will only have to be without a computer for 2 days.
